Celebrate Jesus!
Deuteronomy 26:8 – Therefore the LORD brought us out of Egypt with tremendous strength and power, as well as with great awe-inspiring signs and wonders. 11 – You will celebrate all the good things that the LORD your God has given you and your family, along with the Levites and the resident foreigners among you.
Imagine what it will be like when Jesus comes again to resurrect the righteous dead and bring His people out of this world with tremendous strength and power and with His appearance being the greatest sign of all! With such an amazing promise let us not give evil reports about Jesus and about heaven. His Father’s house has room for you and He has shown us the way to get there. It is through Him who is ‘the way, the truth, and the life!’
So, then, as we worship this weekend let’s celebrate Jesus and all the good things He has given us. We have not realized the final promise yet, but be of good cheer! He is coming again and we will receive HIs promised reward together!
