Battle Cry of Faith

Battle Cry of Faith

Joshua 6:5 – When you hear the signal from the ram’s horn, have the whole army give a loud battle cry. Then the city wall will collapse and the warriors should charge straight ahead.”

Mark 10:46 – They came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples and a large crowd were leaving Jericho, Bartimaeus the son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road. 47 – When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 – Many scolded him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

In ancient times the army of Israel gave the loud cry as they were instructed and the walls of Jericho fell before them and they marched toward victory.

In the time of Jesus Bartimaeus gave his loud battle cry for mercy and “Jesus said to him, ‘Go, your faith has healed you.’ Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the road.” = Mark 10:52.

Satan continues to construct walls barring us from Jesus.  Do not suffer in silence.  Give your loud battle cry in worship to Jesus in song, in prayer, in testimony, in acts of love – and the walls will come tumbling down.  Jesus will say to you as He said to the woman who anointed His feet with oil “Your faith has saved you, go in peace.” – Luke 7:50.

Have a wonderful Sabbath!
