We Are Not Alone
Matthew 1:22 – This all happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled: 23 – “Look! The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call him Emmanuel,” which means “God with us.”
This all happened in order for God to become Emmanuel, God with us. Mary would give birth to Jesus who would save us from our sins and be with us so that we would not be alone. He would be with us at every point of temptation. He would be with us in our gardens of Gethsemane. He would be with us when we take up our crosses. He would be with us when life is done and will be with us when we take it up again at the first resurrection when He returns and calls for us to wake up.
We are not alone
Even when I must walk through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff reassure me. – Psalm 23:4.
