The Worst Time to Forget

Isaiah 51:13 – Why do you forget the LORD, who made you, who stretched out the sky and founded the earth? Why do you constantly tremble all day long at the anger of the oppressor, when he makes plans to destroy? Where is the anger of the oppressor? 14 – The one who suffers will soon be released; he will not die in prison, he will not go hungry. 15 – I am the LORD you God, who churns up the sea so that its waves surge. The LORD who commands armies is his name!

Look at the news today and witness the tug of war between the branches of government; the tug of war between parties; the tug of war between ideologies; the tug of war between churches and within churches; the tug of war between truth and error; the tug of war between oppressor and oppressed; the tug of war between good and evil.  Look again at the  news and witness the rise of artificial intelligence – realize that more questions are being asked of AI than are being  asked of God.  An AI version of Jesus will be considered as more important and more real than the real Jesus.  Do you realize that this is the absolute worst possible time to forget the real Jesus?

Look at what this verse says in Revelation 14:6 – Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, and he had an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth – to every nation, tribe, language, and people. 7 – He declared in a loud voice: “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has arrived, and worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water!”

Satan is determined to get the world to forget at a time when they most need to remember.  Judgment has come!  Worship of an AI will never take the place of worshipping God.  Be very careful of the answers AI will give you.  At first they will seem correct and check all the boxes of legitimacy – but that is merely to get you trust it.  When we have incorporated it into every part of our lives then we will trust its answers to the deeper questions of life and we will have forgotten God completely.

Why, Oh why do you forget the LORD, who made you, who stretched out the sky, and founded the earth?  He is going to churn up the sea.  He is going to shake the earth and burn it up with the sun.  The sufferer will be released.  The oppressed will go free.  The oppressor will be destroyed. 

This is a warning to everyone!  The everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ is being proclaimed.  Jesus is our salvation.  There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved.  Do not forget Jesus – especially now when His judgment has arrived.  Worship the Creator!  Reject all artificial substitutes! Remember Jesus! Do not give up hope!

The LORD who commands armies is coming – Let’s be ready to meet Him!
