Ruins Rebuilt

Isaiah 44:24 – This is what the LORD, your protector, says, the one who formed you in the womb: “I am the LORD, who made everything, who alone stretched out the sky, who fashioned the earth all by myself, 25 – who frustrates the omens of the empty talkers and humiliates the omen readers, who overturns the counsel of the wise men and makes their advice seem foolish, 26 – who filfulls the oracles of his prophetic servants and brings to pass the announcements of his messengers, who says about Jerusalem, ‘She will be inhabited,’ and about the towns of Judah, ‘They will be rebuilt, her ruins I will raise up,’

verse 27 – who says to the deep sea, ‘Be dry! I will dry up your sea currents,’ 28 – who commissions Cyrus, the one I appointed as shepherd to carry out all my wishes and to decree concerning Jerusalem, ‘She will be rebuilt,’ and concerning the temple, ‘It will be reconstructed.'”

Everything said about Cyrus came true and Jerusalem was rebuilt despite all efforts to prevent it from happening. 

The same forces of Satan who employ empty talkers, omen readers, and so co-called wise men – will try to convince as many as possible that we can save ourselves and even become gods.  They provide no hope for the poor calling them ‘useless eaters.’  They will endeavor to plunge humanity deeper into sin providing no hope and no escape.  They do not realize they are declaring war against the Creator, Jesus Christ.

If you find your life ruined as a result of poor decisions regarding life, health, and spirituality.  If you feel there is no hope for rebuilding or restoration – then take a second look at these verses.  There seemed to be no hope for the restoration of Jerusalem after the ancient forces of Babylon destroyed it.  But God called Cyrus to facilitate its reconstruction and against all odds Jerusalem was rebuilt! 

Remember you have Jesus, the Creator of the universe, fighting for you.  He can give you a new heart!  He can give you a new spirit!  He can rebuild your life against the predictions of all the doctors and experts who say it can’t be done.  Let Jesus rebuild and restore your life! Let Jesus be the architect of your salvation today!
